We are pleased to announce that the new Seegene NovaplexTM MPXV/OPXV Assay (RUO) is now available.
Novaplex™ MPXV/OPXV Assay (RUO) is a real-time PCR product that accurately detects Monkeypox virus clades I and II (MPXV) and non-variola (OPXV) specifically with a single test.
This product can be used with the Seegene automation systems for convenient workflow, and it can be used as a confirmation test for MPXV infection.
Later on a second Assay will be launched, the NovaplexTM HSV1&2/VZV/MPXV Assay (RUO) which detects Monkeypox virus together with HSV and VZV in one syndromic panel, because of the similar symptoms.
